What does a private midwife do?
To put it simply, everything your hospital midwife or OB would be doing along your pregnancy care journey-except better! Haha!
We see you antenatally and postnatally in your home according to the recommended schedule.
What is included?
Your own care episode with ONE midwife.
Appointments at your home and in collaboration with your chosen birthing hospital.
All pathology, ultrasounds, allied health referrals (if necessary).
Ongoing birth education.
Postnatal support in your home unit 6 weeks.
A midwife who is beyond passionate about birth with an unwavering belief that you can do it! (and will!)

Does my support person need to attend?
Yes please!
They are SO important to the whole process and have a very important role to play. Who knows they may even enjoy learning about how ah-mazing the female body is!
